You sound like the concerned, caring human that you are. one that knows that the troubles of all mankind, if they don’t, should concern and sadden us all. “He’s my brother….” shouldn’t be just a popular song…it should be a call to rally to every living soul on the planet who has one extra meal/coat/school book/dollar that they can give some one who has none of those things.

I love you, and am so proud of the people you and your brother have grown into! Kiss my babies!!!

I appreciate the feedback. This was a difficult post to write. Being very middle class I can’t imagine what actual poverty is. Many of us in America can’t. During these tough times I think it’s important to take stock of all we have, and to be thankful.
