Ode to Red

In my 25 random things post, you learned that red is my favorite color. Red is the color of so many wonderful things. And let’s not forget that I look really good in red.

It’s also the title of my newest poetic endeaver.

Red

Red.
The color of my bliss.
Keeps me from the abyss.
An alternative to white,
which sometimes is too light.
Don’t ever sample pink.
It’s never what you think.
Rosé can be quite pleasing.
Though sometimes it is teasing.
Making me want
Red.

What a nice tribute to your favourite colour. I do like red but purple is the colour that tickles me the most!
